Seniors Staying Active!
The Candle Lake Seniors Club is a chapter of the Saskatchewan Seniors Association Inc.
Formed in 1981, the Seniors Club is a social club for residents and property owners of Candle Lake aged 50 and over. Members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and we are involved in the community in many ways.
Club Activities:
- Potluck suppers: 2nd Tuesday of each month
- Club business meetings: Held quarterly following a potluck supper
- Quilting: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Card making – Mondays
- Art Club – Wednesdays
- Yoga
The Club also helps out with community fundraisers and projects.
The Club meets on the 2nd floor of the Candle Lake Community Hall (accessible by stairs and elevator). The Club has full kitchen facilities, dart board, bar, piano, and a TV.
Interesting in joining the Seniors Club?
Anyone over 50 years of age, single or a couple, can join the Club. Just bring your sense of humour, appetite and your usual engaging personality!
The fee to join is $10.00 per year.
