Public Library Get Reading!
The Candle Lake Public Library is part of the Wapiti Regional Library system which serves approximately 61,242 square kilometers in North Central Saskatchewan's beautiful Lake Country.
The mission of the Wapiti Regional Library is to enable its local public libraries to provide equitable access to information for cultural, recreational and educational development in the most cost effective and time efficient manner.
The Candle Lake Branch of the Wapiti Regional Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Community Hall.
Library Cards
Library cards are free for Saskatchewan residents. To sign up for a card, visit our Branch or any other Saskatchewan public library and ask a staff member at the Circulation desk to assist you.
Your card will give you access to books and DVD’s from across the province, as well as use of a public computer which is located in our library.
Library Events
Each month the Library hosts events designed to get people reading like Adult Book Club, and Storytime and Craft. These events are listed in the Resort Village newsletter, The Wave each month and posted on social media.
Author Reading at the Library Library Hours
- Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
