Ways to Stay Active!
Many fitness classes in the Resort Village are planned and organized by Parks and Recreation Board volunteers.
Forever...in motion
Forever… in motion is an initiative that helps older adults 55+ become physically active through fitness classes led by trained volunteers. Physical Activity – do it for life…! A Candle Lake “Forever…in Motion” program was launched in fall 2021. Forever in Motion is held in the Community Hall. Classes are fun and free to join!
Power Hour
Fitness classes including Power Hour Fitness, are instructed by various individuals in the Resort Village. These classes are typically held at the Community Hall and run fall through spring. Please contact the Village Office for fitness class dates/times and to purchase a fitness class punch card.

Yoga
Chair Yoga and Floor Yoga are taught in the community by various instructors. Contact the Resort Village at (306) 929-2236 of info@candlelake.ca for more information.
Youth Gym Night
Youth Gym Night is a great way for your kids to stay active and have fun!
Gym night is held Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Candle Lake Recreation Hall from September to April. Basketball, soccer, floor hockey, frescobol, parachute and skipping are just a few Gym Night activities. This unstructured play consists of games and activities that all can participate in.
Kids aged 6 to 18 are welcome to attend.
