Artist at WorkThe Art Club was created by a small group of individuals who wanted to provide the residents of Candle Lake with an opportunity to find their inner creativity, and to learn about interesting techniques using mediums such as oil, acrylic, and water colour from each other.
Guest artists join us occasionally to provide club members with instruction in various techniques and members can participate in community events like Christmas in July, Canada Day Celebrations, and Art on the Beach.
The Art Club meets every Wednesday from September to May in the Seniors Centre, located on the upper floor of the Community Centre.
